umm... M$ had XNA LONG LONG LONG before sony even thought about home... so if anything sony copied from M$... again.
i doubt it for one main reason: if people could get achievements from these games then people would make games like this "load game. press the "A" button 5 times. Achievment Unlocked: 200pts (pressed "A" 5 times) mass achievment farming would run wild and then they would loose all "value" thus killing one of thier main pluses over thier competition (sony).

@ashta: i do buy movies (i have like 200 DVD's and like 30 HD DVD's), thats the point. if i spend $30 i should be able to do with it as i please as long as im not giving it away to others... HD DVD lets you do this, blu-ray...
im sure M$ want as much of the mobile market it can get, they are pushing really hard to get windows mobile on any and every phone thay can, this is just a way for them to grow that market, they wont limit it to only thier phones.

I will buy a PS3 when 3 things happen. 1.) It is available in white. 2.) Price is $300 or less. 3.) They redesign it so its not a big ugly round thingy, a PS3 slim if you will... Looks like #1 is soon to happen... now just waiting on the other two. I was content with never buying a PS3 then WB had to go and kill HD DVD... now, as much as I hate it with all the extra DRM anti-consumer crap blu-ray comes with, I need me a decent blu-ray player... No they didn't. They don't have any multi-million sellers that aren't given away free with the system. How is that GOOD? How? Please tell me? The 360 had MULTIPLE million sellers it's first year... so NO the PS3 is NOT holding it's own. Hardware sales lag way behind with TWO BIG PRICE CUTS in the FIRST YEAR. more money was acctually spent on the 360 than anyother system out there. so if you want to talk about bringing in the cash nintendo is NOT the leader there they simply sold the most systems but they dint sell the most game or most acessories. just think 50% of EA's money was made off just the 360 last year. im not saying one system is better than another buy if you want to talk cash consumers overwhelmingly voted for the 360 with thier wallets and thats what really matters most to 3rd party ...
